Final Major Project : NSX GT3 Evo - Update 10

Moving onto the interior, I utilised a lot of the same techniques when it came to creating the stickers on the steering wheel and centre console. The HUD has an emissive map on it to help it replicate the glow that an LCD screen would have. Everything in the interior was created from scratch, except for the rearview mirror image which is a screenshot from Project Cars 2 in-game of the Spa racetrack. As these cars have a camera feed rearview mirrors, I felt I had to put an image there as otherwise, it would be hard to understand what the component was.

The white seam that is displaying in multiple areas in these images (dashboard, seats) was a visual glitch and fixed upon restarting the software.

The material on the seats and dashboard is my replication of Alcantara. Since an array of different materials are used within these cars I decided to go with Alcantara as it, to me, is the most visually interesting. I built the material up starting with several hues and tones of colour to get a nice variety across the piece. I then added in layers of mottle and cracks with different roughness values. Some of the mottle has a slight height depth added to it. This enhances the look that you could feel the texture of this material if you were to put your hand on it.
